STILL SENSIBILITY Photography Gallery-Scott Drickey

It gives me great pleasure to share with you a portfolio gallery representing what I do well. I have worked on refining a point-of-view towards stills from the smallest of subjects to sweeping interiors. A still sensibility can evoke and linger while suggesting a creative concept. Some of these images have been inspired by portraits in which I wanted to subtly convey a personality from personal effects and spaces. Thanks for your consideration and time.

Inspired by recently constructed studio flats Bill spent a couple hours photographing Chelsea Richardson and Jadon Ulrich for a new advertising campaign beginning in October. The campaign will begin with character study portraits of six individuals already photographed and will be an on photographic campaign.

From Lightroom to Darkroom

Today Scott collaborated with Bemis resident, Kate Lee "Tessa" on a multi-media project of hers that required a traditional photographic technique utilizing a 4X5 camera. "I felt the need of shooting her concept with Type 55 Polaroid and preserving the negative for reproduction. Polaroid and most traditional chemistry is hard to come these days, so a big shout out to Midland Scientific, Inc. for having some Sodium Sulfite in stock." Bill was in the "Lightroom" while Scott revisted the "Darkroom".

Scott's Inspiring Interiors

I was on assignment at an architectural firm's new space in Omaha. I left inspired by it's killer lines and fascinating use of lighting design.
